Mute Math: Division and Subtraction

I saw Mute Math in concert last night. The last time (and first time) I saw MM, I was floored by their passion and energy onstage. You could tell that they loved what they were doing. Four years later, despite a bigger budget and a better stage set, the math makers were missing something. To be fair, they are very good at what they do. But, instead of making music for the pure joy of it, last night, it looked more like just another (well-executed) job.
