Jack, John and Jazz

Last night, I experienced the jazz stylings of the John Shea Trio for the first time in over 20 years at Jack Ridl's book release party.  I hadn't heard John's trio since attending a Hope College Visiting Writers Series -- now the Jack Ridl Visiting Writers Series -- event at Holland's Knickerbocker Theatre.  What a joy to be in the same room with John and Jack once again!
