Women rock for equality

I experienced the Her HRC Nashville: Women Rock extravaganza at 3rd & Lindsley last night.  Originally booked for Jan. 22, the event was rescheduled due to winter weather.  Accomplished singer/songwriters Garrison Starr, Sinclair, Kimberly Quinn, Jamie Floyd, Steff Mahan, Lucie Silvas, and Shelly Fairchild (above) contributed to the evening of celebration and motivation.

I saw vivacious vocalist Adam Lambert (above) rock the Ryman last Thursday, after opening sensation Alex Newell warmed up the crowd.

TTB: First show of my listening year

Last night began my concert experience of 2016.  The 12-piece blues rock outfit Tedeschi Trucks Band filled the Ryman Auditorium with a glorious wall of sound.
