Summer Sounds

Last Friday, I enjoyed the sounds of Tejano/variety band Grupo Motivo at Holland, Michigan's Kollen Park.  Last night, I experienced West Michigan blues outfit Joe Johnson and the Bluebacks Band (pictured above) at that same bandshell.

Stormy weather...since my band and I ain't together

Sadly, I was unable to make use of my tickets to see punk band The Linda Lindas open for alterna-pop indie artist Japanese Breakfast Sunday night, due to thunderstorms.

Steeling Musical Moments

After passively listening to country band Stolen Horses while at Kollen Park on Friday night, I heard acoustic pop/rock singer/songwriter Lukas Pederson at Crane's Pie Pantry Restaurant & Winery yesterday afternoon (above).  Regional musical acts represent!

I pre-ordered this double cover book on July 12, 2021 and it finally arrived yesterday.  Long live rock-n-roll (and those who make it)!
